Simon BALDRY

At Notts 2003-2004

 Released by Notts at the end of the 03/04 season.

 In July 2005 Simon took part in an unsuccessful trial at Blackpool before joining Ealandians FC in Elland, Halifax.

 In January 2008 Simon joined Ossett Town FC in the Unibond Premier League.

 
Ian BARACLOUGH

At Notts 1995-1998 and 2001-2004

 Released by Notts at the end of the 03/04 season.

 In June 2004 he signed a deal with Scunthorpe United.

 As well as continuing to play for the Irons, Ian is now co-assistant manager, along with Andy Crosby, they assist manager Nigel Adkins with his duties, a role Ian is relishing.

 
Paul BARNES

At Notts 1985-1989

  

 

 Went on to play for Stoke City, York, Birmingham, Huddersfield and Bury with his transfer fees totaling around £900,000.  Was the Conference Golden Boot winner as Doncaster won promotion to Division Three. Paul has recently joined Tamworth to help with their relegation battle in the Conference.

Joined Dean Thomas' Hinckley Utd July 2004

Joined Alfreton Town in summer 2005 but has since retired due to injuries.

 
Tony BARRAS

At Notts 2003-2004

 Released by Notts at the end of the 03/04 season and joined Macclesfield on a 12 month contract.

 Now playing for Witton Albion..

Tony BATTERSBY

 At Notts 1996-1997

  

 Tony has had a number of clubs after leaving Notts in 1997 including Bury, Lincoln City, Northampton Town(loan), Boston United, Hucknall Town, Rushden and Diamonds, Stevenage Borough, Gravesend and Northfleet, Cambridge City, King's Lynn, Grays Athletic, AFC Wimbledon, Chelmsford City, Welling United (loan) before joining Stamford in the summer of 2007.
 
Julian BAUDET

 At Notts 2004-2006

 Left Notts in the summer of 2006 to join Crewe Alexandra.
 
Peter BEADLE

 At Notts 1999

  

 After a spell playing for Barnet in the Conference he joined Team Bath in the Dr Martens League Western Division in December 2003 to start his managerial career as player/coach.

 In June 2004 Peter joined Southern League Division One West club Clevedon Town as their player and commercial manager.

 In October 2005 Peter joined Newport County as manager.

 
Damien BEATTIE

At Notts 1998-1999

 

 After leaving Notts he has been on the books of a number of non-league sides including Ilkeston, Hinckley, Evesham, Shepshed and Eastwood Town. 

 November 2003 saw him leave Eastwood Town to return to Evesham in the Doc Martens western division.

 After retiring as a player Damien spent time as a college coach in the USA. 

 As a coach, Damien has completed his F.A Goalkeeping 'A' Licence, and is well on his way to completing his UEFA 'A' License. Damien was Assistant coach at Lees-McRae College in North Carolina in season 2002-2003 before coming back to England and working at Mansfield Town F.C as Goalkeeper Coach. Damien is currently looking after all the youth goalkeepers at Nottingham Forest. While playing and coaching Damien also found time to complete his BSc in Sport Science and Management

 Damien is now a sports consultant for Sports-Ed.

 
Dale BELFORD

At Notts 1987

  Much travelled keeper in non league football, Dale's clubs include VS Rugby, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Hinckley, Atherstone before joining Gresley Rovers in September 2003.  In the summer of 2005 Dale joined Sutton Coldfield where he coaches the keepers as well as playing.

For the 2006/7 season Dale joined Tamworth as goalkeeping coach and played for Shepshed at the same time.

July 2007 Dale joined Coalville Town.

 
Tyrone BERRY

At Notts 2005

 Returned to Crystal Palace after his loan spell at the Lane.

 After a season long loan at Rushden Tyrone joined them on a permanent basis.

 Tyrone went out on loan to Lewes in January 07.

 
Jonathan BEWERS

At Notts 2004

 Released by Notts at the end of the 2003/2004 season and joined Walsall.

 Joined Aylesbury United in September 2005, after a spell with Kettering Town, making his debut against Grantham Town.

 Released by Aylesbury in February 2006 and joined Rothwell Town.

 
Chris BILLY

 At Notts 1998

 

 Billy's time with Notts County was brief (he started only three games) before  moving to Bury in September 1998. He then moved to Carlisle United, who were relegated to the Football Conference League during the 03-04 season.

After only one season away they were back to the League via the play-offs with Billy scoring a superb goal in the semi final home leg at Brunton Park. 

On January 31, 2007, Billy joined conference club Halifax Town, signing an 18 month contract, after being at Brunton Park for 3½ years.  But after only 8 months Billy was released from his contract to join Conference new boys Farsley Celtic in August 2007.

 February 2008 Chris joined Ossett Town FC in the Unibond Premier League.

 
Alan BIRCHENALL

 At Notts 1975-1977

 Since 1983 Alan has been a programme columnist and the 'man with the microphone' at Leicester City.
 
Garry BIRTLES

At Notts 1987-1988

 Nottingham Evening Post columnist and Sky pundit.
 
Clayton BLACKMORE

 At Notts 1999-2000

 

 After leaving Notts Clayton had a short spell at Leigh RMI before joining Bangor City.  After a while he became player-manager but parted company in November 2006 after a series of disappointing results. . 

Clayton was replaced as manager by former Peterborough boss Steve Bleasdale, star of the reality TV series "Big Ron Manager".

Clayton signed as a player for Porthmadog in Dec 2006. 

 
Kevin BLACKWELL

At Notts 1989-1993

Was at the club between 1989 and 1993 but does not appear to have made a single first team appearance in that time because of the ever present Steve Cherry.  He will therefore need to be removed from these pages in due course.  Had a spell as Assistant Manager at Leeds.  

June 2004 - appointed manager of Leeds United - but sacked in September 06.

Paul BOERTIEN

At Notts 2004 (loan)

 Paul returned to Derby after his loan period but was released in summer 2007.

 The 2006/07 season saw Paul make four appearances whilst on loan at Chesterfield as well as 11 outings for Derby as they secured Premiership status. 

 Walsall completed the permanent capture of left-back, Paul on July 27th 2007.

 
Paul BOLLAND

At Notts 1999-2005 

 After leaving Notts in the summer of 2005 Paul joined Grimsby Town.
 
Les BRADD

 At Notts 1967-1977

 

 Had a spell working in match day hospitality for the team 'over the bridge.'

Summer 2006 saw Les return 'home' to take up a commercial role within the club.

 
Guy BRANSTON At Notts 2008
   

 After his single appearance for Notts Guy joined Kettering Town who currently top the Blue Square North division.

 
John 'Bill' BRINDLEY 

 At Notts 1970-1975

 Until recently he was assistant manager to Iain McCulloch at Arnold in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.  After Iain's resignation he is now joint manager with Brynn Gunn.

 Has parted company with Arnold.

 Billy sadly died aged 60 in April 2007.

 
Michael BROUGH

At Notts 1998-2004

 Released by Notts in January 2004.  After having trials with both Macclesfield Town and Lincoln City, Welsh under 21 international Brough joined Dr. Martens Premier Division team Stafford Rangers managed by ex Pie Phil Robinson but after only one game he was bought by Conference side Stevenage Borough. 

 After a spell on loan at Forest Green Rovers he has now joined them on a permanent basis.

 
Kenny BURNS At Notts 1984 (loan)
 After leaving Notts Kenny's final league club was Barnsley.  He continued to play non-league football with Sutton Town, Stafford Rangers, Grantham, Alfreton Town, Gainsborough Trinity, Ilkeston Town and finally Oakham United before he became Assistant Manager at Telford United United in the summer of July 1993.

Kenny is now a regular columnist in the Nottingham Evening Post where he never ceases to impress readers with his 'pearls of wisdom.'

 
Peter BUTLER

 At Notts 1994-1996

 
 After leaving Notts Peter had two seasons each at West Brom and Halifax before moving abroad.  After a spell as player/coach of Sorrento in Western Australia in May 2003 he became Head Coach at Sabhar Rhinos in Malaysia, taking them to the Malaysian Cup Final in his first season.
 
Michael BYRON

 At Notts 2007 (loan)

 After his loan spell at Notts Michael returned to Hull. 

 Rejoined Notts during September 2007 but was soon out on loan a month later at Hinckley United.
